Something I'm noticing porter uses a TON that I think is a super effective songwriting technique: every last chorus has a subtle layer added like an extra pad or cymbal to give it a little more lift.. So like the song is sort of always building to the last chorus which I think keeps you more engaged snd the last chorus is super satisfying. He does this on everything goes on,, look at the sky, shelter, musician, mirror, ghost voices, and more

Not only that, Porter adds a non diatonic chord into the progression at the last chorus. Instead of the chorus kicking off from IV to VI, he replaces the VI with a minor fourth (IV-iv). It feels absolutely rewarding

Quick note the MV actually is shorter then the actual release of the song so if you want a longer one, then those are the way to go. Porter tweeted it out so just spreading the message

Wow didn't realize you had KZbin channel with this kind of content on it! I've absolutely loved some of your tracks. I'm not sure if you are or aren't a Christ Follower but I've been on this forever quest to find solid EDM sounding music with a faith-background and stumbled onto your discography with a couple tracks that were exactly what I'd been looking for.
