Nice video. Nice beginning of a system. Can hardly wait until the Millwoods, West Edmonton Mall, and St. Albert lines open. When that's done, it can start being a nice city too!

Very long overdue. We are way too dependent on our cars because of a transit system that consistently scores at the very bottom of the Mass Transit Index on all levels for the past 30 years. It's not really ETS fault, they have been subjected to some of the most extreme civic cutbacks any transit has ever seen on a consistent basis. We are literally 20 years behind Calgary which has one of the best public transit systems in Canada.

Tevie Miller was the greatest school I've ever been to all my life that spanned in five years but attended there six times, glad you took this video where the LRT is departing away from South Campus station and I can catch glimpses of my school from right-side of the train. Thank you for this.

timosha21 thank you Tim! I’ve been using Final Cut Pro for the past few year, this video included. I’m on the verge of buying a Cannon 4K camera but I’m worried that I may need a new computer to handle the larger video files.

Out of curiosity when did you film this? I would wait to see the new extension to NAIT until they have the signal system working, right now it is a joke as you can almost walk faster than the trains drive. Good video, thanks for sharing.

April of 2014. Thanks for the tip.
@DHilchie18 жыл бұрын
Luke Starkenburg Then I am at a loss as to why they were doing that in April, normally they only do that for Remembrance Day and Canada day. I have no idea when they will have the signal system up and running as the city got fed up waiting for the contractor and started running trains at reduced speed. At the speed the contractor is going the new line to Millwoods will probably be up and running before they get the signals working on the north line.

I have taken the LRT On Edmonton Transit System Lots of Times Before & After Going into HighSchool at LYCairns, I started going to my YouthGroups on Friday Nights in Mckernan Baptist Church on Friday Evenings after School Once a Month in Year 10, Year 11 & Year 12. In 2009/2010 in Grade 11, I took my ETS Buses in & Out of Southgate Transit Centre & SouthCampus Transit Centre, Took the LRT Northbound From SouthCampus to Mckernan Belgravia Station & Walked on 76th Ave to the Lighthouse. In 2010/2011 in Grade 12, I took 45 Southgate to Southgate Transit Centre, Took the LRT Northbound From Southgate Station to Mckernan/Belgravia Station, Walked Eastbound to the Mckernan Baptist Church Lighthouse on 76th Ave.

Edmonton's GDP per capita is TWICE as much as Vancouver's and we don't have this "Tourist Attraction" you are talking about.
