No kids in the NHL are ready except Rodrigue. Why would you want to rush them? Let them keep playing in AHL. Rushing players is exactly why Broberg left.

Most psychologists will tell you that can damage a young athletes confidence by being overly protective & critical and that's exactly what has happened under Holland's tenure as GM. Glen "Slats" Sather has been often quoted that he let the early dynasty of young Oilers play together in order that they could learn from their mistakes. He didn't bench them or send them down to the minors like this regime does😢 Has there ever been a Oilers coach of recent memory so consistent on holding even their star players to the same standards that the young players get held to? Emberson - Jake McCabe n Brayden mcnabb stylist play . Defense first. Emberson is a very physical defender. Opponents must be wary of coming down his side of the ice with their head down. He maintains a good gap and can explode into a hit if one presents itself. He is also extremely physical in board battles and in clearing the front of the net. Emberson does a good job of not crossing the line though. He does not take a lot of penalties, despite his physical edge. Emberson is also disciplined in his positional play. He takes the hits that present themselves and does not run around and get himself caught out of position often

How does the oil go about not losing anymore prospects to offer sheets in the near future? Maybe talk about this in your next episode since it’s still a very fresh wound to overcome. Emberson has I think a one year deal so will we lose him next season to offer sheets?

Offer sheets are extremely rare, plus emberson has connection with Kris knoblauch

@@sino3467 connections don’t mean squat when it comes to millions. Emberson becomes an RFA next season. If the Oilers think that Emberson is the real deal then they’d better sign him to a long term cheap contract before they lose him. Maybe see how Emberson plays for the first 20 games and if he’s real good you sign him to a cheap long term contract up until Nurses contract is up.
