As someone who's been treated by many psychologists and having been declared psychologically healthy after 4 appointments with my last psychologist... I understand almost everything in this video, except some technical stuff 😅 I'm not very advanced at technical music terms, as I just started producing... I....don't get sexiness from the Phrygian melody. I like it - especially when you were playing it with the piano to get a feel for the rhythm but I was thinking more mysterious, or perhaps suspenseful/foreboding like something is about to happen/starting to happen. I can't say I was feeling sexy/flirtatious though when I was listening to it. I just kept get more foreboding like it was the bass line to a battle theme or the part of the theme where the bass takes the lead before standing out when the rest of the song comes back in.

Am I weird or is it all seems like too simple? You’ve been talking about how simplicity is important but for me such unsurprising melody just becomes boring and gives no satisfaction. When I’m hearing those melodies I am just a step from recreating it and adding a lot of variations, to mess up with a scale and add notes that are not within just for more fun, more variety and so on. Otherwise (again for me) it makes the track maybe catchy but only for one or two listens per month or year, any further one would be just boring and the song that I love are not as simple which makes them more varied and looping one song is not a boredom then

There are 5 more modes in music, so that are those responsible for? The truth is that Major is not about happiness, Minor is not about sadness They are about something like brightness: Major is brighter than Minor (but you can play happy and sad melody in any of them). The proof: pitch any happy melody down from C-dur to a-moll. The shade's going to shift, but the mood remains The actual question about mood and feeling of the melody is not about scale, but about patterns, rhythm, direction of it, intervals we are using. What do we use: steps or leaps? Where and how much? What notes? What pitches? staccato or legato? I was expecting common patterns. Didn't recieve one

@@EDMTips Not suggesting you change your editing style to be a bit slower. The editing speed is subjective for each viewer, and a slower paced editing feels better for me, I'm sure to a lot of people, the editing speed is alright. Just do the same editing speed as your other videos and you should do fine. Just a thing to keep in mind is "the faster the editing, generally, the younger the audience"
