mate i have had the same last 2 years my mum just passed away and music comes from the happy the dark and devistating. Its just hard to remain positive and willing when life throws you down a dark path. Light will come back just stick with it and remain as positive as you can. Do what u love and other people will love it too then you may just find your home.

At the moment too, I'm in training for 7 charity runs, in different parts of the UK, a few locally to home, the 7 include: Great North Run, Great Scottish Run which I'm looking forward to doing. Doing these for Alzheimer's Society and Macmillan Cancer Support, but have been doing them since 2012 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Running does help my mindset. Have to have music on when I run, keeps me motivated.

I've been doing this for some time so rather than specific artists or tracks I'd like to learn some more advanced techniques (particularly with non-Ableton plug-ins as I am a Logic user) that I can use in my tech house productions to take them up a level or 2 and make them more contemporary sounding.

Love this tutorial, learnt a few golden tips and tricks. My problem is I downloaded the project file and went to open the file, but Ableton tells me I needed the latest version of Ableton 11 to open up the project. Installed the latest version of 11, but at the cost of losing all my VST 2 / 3 plugins, only AU units showing. So had to reinstall the previous version of Ableton 11 to get my system and templates back to how they were. Any idea why my VSTs are not showing up in the latest version of Ableton 11?

This is what Ableton says: Make sure you've installed the correct bit-depth (32-bit or 64-bit) Live 10 and 11 are 64-bit only, therefore 32-bit plug-ins will not appear in the browser. Likewise, if using the 32-bit version of Live 9, 64-bit plug-ins won't appear in the browser. Do you use Mac or Windows?

@@EDMTips I dont really know wheather their are artist of this genre or not but however i am trying to experiment with this genre. Its like taking chill atmospheric sounds and combining those sounds into house music, and also the chords structure should be in minor natural and adding 7th and 9th chords will be perfect for this genre and also the deep house kick and snare is an important element...so please make a video on this.. I think this will be your new content for your upcoming video..
