Hardest time in my life by far, and I have been through a lot. I am more tired, more insecure, more lacking in vision and direction than I ever have in my life. It feels like every day is groundhog day: each the same and no matter what I do for the positive or negative I am still stuck in the same misery. I have a plan and soon it will be time to pack up and move across country, starting anew with the love of my life on the tailend of severe hurt with the hopes of rebuilding. My confidence has ALWAYS been linked to the outcomes I can create, and this season in my life has taught me no matter how much you give, the outcome you earned may not be the one that shows up. To link it to intention, to faith... to go forward in that.... I hope this time can be different. Thank you for all you do, Ed. And to anyone reading this going through the worst of the worst..... you are not alone in the darkness. Try... one more time. Youre worth it.

I'd like to give you some unsolicited advice, that has served me well, as a Christian, a Father, Husband, Warrior and Leader. Learn to be there for yourself 1st. Meaning? Work on you and learn to be comfortable being by yourself and learning to like yourself before seeking a partner/long term life mate, etc.... See, many think "if I get person X, then I'll be good." To later learn person X was not even in your category and not a perfect fit. Many today will trade sex, seeking love and jump from just meeting, to hot and heavy sex, wondering why there's no substance to their relationship? Life lesson: If you give up your body, just barely knowing someone. How do you think you'll sell them on you being worthy and having higher value? The message will be you're a side piece at best or a "booty call." (I'm not saying this is you, rather just using this as an example). Just meeting or knowing someone less than 180 days and having sex.....It's obvious. You have no relationship, other than sexually in those cases. Which is important, but it's not the only thing of value. 1st focus on being and becoming friends. Build that relationship and trust first. If the person can't wait? They are not right for you. Value yourself and know your worth. Learn to not compromise with your values and beliefs. Next, that self talk. Whether you think you can or can't? You're absolutely correct!" Keep the negative talk down, focus on turning negative language positive. Your self worth is more important than Gold! The higher value and self esteem you have, the higher your standards will become. Always know and remember this, "you are worth it!" No matter what and no matter with who! Much love, luck, success, happiness, joy and abundance. A couple good book tips for you, your personal growth and development. Ed I love you brother! You are so real, you talking about your dad today got me choked up. Reminded me how much I need to cherish the time with my dad while he’s still here. Thank you for sharing

Every day is a battle really. I have to create daily habits to push me through all stages throughout the day. I relate to Ed so much. I’m super successful, very fit, super positive and inspirational to others but there is this battle in my head daily. I turn to God. It helps but I still lack joy often. My wife is such a great supporter and I am grateful for her.

My dad used to say sorry out of the blue all the time. I made sure to let him know I forgave him long ago, and I understood why he had challenges. He would be Teary-eyed after, and I we would hug. He helped me so much to become a better man.

Once I forgave him, I felt free of all the hostility, and I was able to spend important years with my dad and the man he was his last 10 years. He became my best friend 🥲 I miss him every day and that's ok. He always mentioned we are all on borrowed time, so enjoy it fast.

"I think those Sneak Peeks from God are him saying "This is what's possible!" - Ed Mylett I couldn't agree more. The greatest "forever memory" I have is actually the Dream I've been chasing my whole life... and as the pieces are falling into place, by my own inner work and side efforts, I see myself getting closer to it.

"We get (reach) our Standards in our life, not our Goals. We get about 25% of our Goals. We will almost always ultimately get our Standards... and we are constantly teaching people how to treat us based on our Standards. We teach the world and everyone around us how to treat us, based on our Standards... so if you set a higher standard - and maybe it's as simple as asking yourself a question to go back. "What would my standard need to be, so that people begin to treat me differently? What would my standard need to be so that I Feel as if I belong - or that I can take over?" - Ed Mylett

I am 57. Back in 2010 my then 15 year old son was in a snowboarding accident. Doctors said he would never walk again. For 1 year, My wife stayed by his side at the hospital to oversee his therapy while I stayed home with my 2 young daughters, driving them to dance, doing homework, cooking, laundry etc. During that year my father was diagnosed and then died of colon cancer. My son and wife both walked into our front door at the end of that year. When you are going through hell, just keep going through the flames, because this too shall pass.

"The only recognition I got was when I achieved something" For me, even achieving the highest... wasn't recognized. The only thing recognized was how I was late from the last race in the meet... not how they saw me win that last race. Things we do as parents have lasting impressions on people as adults... and as adults, we have to figure out how to "undo" that programming, to Become... anything.

Dear Ed, I am one your hardcore fans and i have learned a lot from you and would like to appreciate for everything you do for us here. But I also have one comment about your content. When you are talking about Growth Day, It would be much better to change your line from " Hey guys are you frustrated with where you are at right now, maybe stunted in your progress" which has negative connotation to something positive. In my humble opinion it makes your amazing contents even better and gives better result at the end. I love all of your contents and god bless.
