finding this video leaves me speachless. this band is from my hometown of Long Island and we grew up in the 90's on such hits as this and Step Lively. this makes me a very happy chick :)

Remember seeing these guys in manhattan literally every week for like 2 years opening for the Toasters, Hepcat, etc. What a work out. Found myself clapping out of muscle memory at 2:36 the way we always did at the shows. Some of my fondest teen memories.

Edna's Gfish was a great band/Brian was awesome. I used to organize a lot of those ska shows at OLV. the sketchy guy Gary (trumpet player, IIRC) made us promise to let them film their video there for free. It was one of his conditions to playing the gig. I'm not sure Msgr or anyone even knew it was filmed. They did it all in one day before Skafest.

The original line-up of the Stereo appears in this video, walking into the school at 0:10 and at the end they can be seen tearing the banner as they walk out of the school entrance at 3:19. Also, Jamie Woolford plays the bully on the basketball court at about 0:36.

@mcvitiethebiscuit dude, this is ska punk, a fusion genre of ska & punk rock. I quite like it but I'm not gonna get into a debate because again, each to their own. It's good to experiment with different sounds though.

Well, RBF's version has a more reggae feel to it, and I also think Aaron's voice is better, but Edna's Goldfish version has a fuckin cool punk-ish rythm guitar while the chorus seems catchier (he says stuff between ''Friday nights!'' and ''Saturday nights''!, stuff that Aaron just doesn't say in his version).
