How you can consider this album a masterpiece is beyond me. There are some decent tracks on ÷, Dive being one of the standouts but certainly nothing that is comparable to the level of craftsmanship displayed on his debut album. To me, each successive release after + has strayed more into the pop sphere and away from his acoustic, folk-pop origins.

This album is sick. Totally worth all the waiting. Got a CD as a present and checked all the credits. We've got Clapton here, Mayer on 'How would you feel', Pino Palladino in several tracks and bunch of other amazing musicians jamming around in this record. And of course, last but not least, the amazing talent of Ed himself. Great stuff.

so the guitar solo on this track is supposed to be Eric Clapton? I heard Ed Sheeran talking about how he plays guitar solos like a poor man's John Mayer and after hearing "Dive" I thought, oh, now I know what he's talking about.

The credits say "Guitar by Angelo Mysterioso" which refers to the same nickname used in Clapton's album where Ed also played as a guest artist. Not sure about the solo itself, but the progressions are awesome and this 6/8 tempo really makes the song great and bluesy. Definitely a subtle touch by Mr. Slowhand.
