I just recently found your song while visiting Louisiana on a pier full of paddle boat swans. Apparently, I have been dancing with my eyes closed for the last three years. My late husband loved to sing. He sang in my ear at prom as we danced as teenagers. He sang in the truck and around the fire pit( I haven’t even lit it since he left)I was flooded with such strong emotions, yeah, I would say they hit hard. It's been a rough year to say the least 😔. I married my one and only high school sweetheart 8 years ago. It just so happens that our first dance was to Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud, which was so fitting and meant a lot to us. We were together for 18 years. We grew up together and are best friends.
