Professional farrier Chris Niclas walks you through the steps he uses for gluing on an EDSS/Steward Clog using a direct glue method. The steps include removing a glued-on shoe, plastic shoe cleanup, hoof preparation, and attaching the plastic clog to the foot using Acrylic (MMA) adhesive. This process uses a full hoof wall and sole gluing processes that is different than other methods of gluing only to the hoof wall. The type of glue used, how you prepare and protect the frog, and the condition of the sole are VERY IMPORTANT when using this method.
