There will not be anyone who watched that who did not shed at least one tear of Joy. Absolutely delightful, thank you.

I can see things and think that’s so moving, heartwarming and wonderful but not get damp eyes. Sadness is another matter. With this her sorrow and heartbreaking pain are palpable, it’s so sad when amazing people are lost. 😢

She so loves her hubby glad they could fix it. Her joy in it had me in tears. Sometimes it's not the price of an item but the memories and love it invokes

I used to work for Tesco's in Stratford upon Avon. She use to come into the shop to shop, because she lived with her husband and family. Just out side Stratford upon Avon. In a nice little village. She would always say hello if she saw you or anyone else. The same thing with the man who played in Pie in the Sky. Because he lived in Beiarly near to Stratford upon Avon. And Melvin Hayes when at the theatre. Working hard..😊😊😊❤❤

what a lovely format! So intimate, yet professional in their expertise. One little gripe, if I can call it that: she hungered for a warm hug when reminiscing her late husband. But maybe I underestimate the need for solitude of the Brits ;-)

I agree!! I just wanted to give her a huge hug! It just shows what a happy, meaningful marriage can do for us. She is blessed.

The Covid Restrictions were still in place when the episode was filmed I assume. Jay and Dame Judie have made a series together recently where they've had a lot of fun showing each other places important to them

I’ve seen her being interviewed many times, but this seemed to be the real person being the actress, her emotion and live for her husband. How can I say this without sounding rude, which isn’t my intention. She still has her sparkle but hasn’t got that edge of smile nicely I’m on camera & be super bubbly and…I think this is the Judi her family and friends see, they’re very fortunate to have her. To clarify, she doesn’t have the stage presence on this, the same as when I’m teaching a course, a workshop, conference or teaching a class I don’t know to teach the little buggers to behave (I’ll explain at the bottom) as I step over a threshold to whatever I’m doing, then as I become the focus of attention of course it’s me, but it’s a different part of me. Sometimes I take a deep breath, put a warm smile in my face, wipe my nose, quickly check I look presentable then I’m the focus of attention. Hope that makes se se Make the little buggers behave…as a child I hated school, but decided to teach, I learned a lot at school, mostly how not to treat children. I do have quite a dominant air to me and I find behaviour management easy, I extremely rarely raise my voice unless it’s to be heard. Though I don’t teach full time now I go in to help individual staff or whole schools with behaviour problems. Note I didn’t say naughty children! 99% of children’s behaviour is directly caused by adults. I have tips and tricks that make classroom management a piece of cake, praise the good, make children want to behave in a positive way. Give out caught being good rewards, that’s working quietly, I don’t believe in silence, children aren’t robots. Trying hard, helping someone, being kind…give out happy notes just to say…a postcard size mini reward. Takes little effort to compliment the child on something. The biggest bit of work is deciding which cute images and fonts to use oh & a rough check who’s had them so no one missed out

Now I’ve watched further that’s exactly what I meant, the on stage Judy is slightly different, both aspects of her are equally important and valid 😀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

RANT TIME Sorry.. Why in gods good earth did the BB bloody C decide to end this wonderful program. Making room for other programs I heard. Yep quizzes reality stuff, like we need more of that. Look worldwide at what is available, plenty of cheap reality shows . Please BBC go back to your roots and air shows like these, please dont succumb to public opinion and sell out.I expect,no I demand more from you. Amaze me please.

I feel very sorry for this man. he has beaten so many problems in his life with stoicism yet he is now pilloried by a case as yet unproven. Is it the so called wife at fault, I don't know, but everyone deserves a break. He is very good on The Repair Shop and it is hard to believe ne is such abad man.. As the Mikado said , let the punishment fit the crime.

You do realise that none of the Repair Shop regulars are 'tv people', don't you? They're all professional artisan craftspeople, who have ended up on tv, so they're likely to be 'stilted' in front of the camera, aren't they? 🤔
