Story | My First Day at Work Hi, my name is Ryan, and this summer, I decided to do something different. Instead of spending my vacation playing video games or relaxing, I wanted to work and earn my own money. You see, I’ve been saving up for a new bicycle, and I realized that if I worked for a few weeks, I could finally afford it. I wasn’t sure where to start, but my dad offered to help. One of his friends, Mr. Carter, owns a delivery company, and he said I could work there for a few weeks. I would be a delivery driver, helping take packages to customers around the city. It sounded exciting, but I was also nervous-it would be my first job. On my first day, I woke up early and dressed in comfortable clothes. My mom wished me luck, and my dad gave me a small pep talk. “Just be responsible and polite,” he said. “You’ll do great.” I felt a little excitement and anxiety as I walked to Mr. Carter’s office. When I arrived, Mr. Carter greeted me with a friendly smile. “Welcome to the team, Ryan,” he said. He introduced me to Sam, another delivery driver who would train me for the day. Sam was a cheerful guy, and he made me feel at ease right away. “Don’t worry,” he said. “It’s not as hard as it seems. You’ll get the hang of it.” We started by loading packages into the delivery van. There were boxes of all sizes, and Sam explained how to organize them to make the deliveries faster. “You put the first stops near the door and the last ones at the back,” he said. “That way, you don’t waste time looking for packages.” Once the van was loaded, we hit the road. At the first stop, I followed Sam to the customer’s door and watched as he handed over the package with a smile. “It’s all about being friendly and professional,” he said. At the next stop, it was my turn. I grabbed a small box, walked up to the door, and said, “Good morning! Here’s your delivery.” The customer smiled and thanked me. It felt good to do something helpful. As the day went on, I started to enjoy the job. Driving around the city, meeting different people, and learning new skills was more fun than I expected. Of course, it wasn’t all easy. Some packages were heavy, and finding certain addresses took longer than we thought. But Sam was patient and gave me tips to improve. By lunchtime, I was tired but proud of myself. We stopped at a small café for sandwiches, and Sam told me stories about his first days on the job. “Everyone feels nervous at first,” he said. “But look at you-you’re doing great already.” In the afternoon, we finished the last few deliveries and returned to the office. Mr. Carter asked me how my first day went, and I told him I had enjoyed it. “I’m glad to hear that,” he said. “Keep working hard, and you’ll have that bicycle in no time.” When I got home, I felt exhausted but accomplished. My parents asked me about my day, and I told them all about the deliveries and how much I had learned. It felt good to know I was earning my own money and working towards my goal. This job isn’t just helping me save for a bicycle-it’s teaching me the value of hard work and responsibility. I know it’s only for a few weeks, but it’s an experience I’ll never forget. And who knows? Maybe I’ll enjoy my new bike even more, knowing I earned it myself.

Gracias, quizas desde mi punto de vista que estoy lento aun, poner oracion por oracion y un tiempo entre ellas para poder asimilarla mejor y poder retroceder los 5seg y escuchar la misma oracion, como todo ocurre continuo me termino por perder
