@@naprimjer6593 well, the purpose is to learn. This is a lobby with exactly 0 on the line and they were up against some pretty meta picks. Dire team had one of strongest drafts. Two of the strongest supports (dazzel and venge) one of the 3 strongest carry (gyro, others are sven and PA), the mid and offlane were kinda swapped but dawnbreaker and earthspirit are both pretty broken heroes this patch. I feel that without coaching radiant would have lost in 30 minutes. Really nice showcase of how strategic of a game Dota really is. I would definitely try to put more thought on how to win fights like that. Also Hoodwink plays were really impressive, good job dude!
@holohulolo
@holohulolo 10 ай бұрын
Im not convinced. I want dire players to play radiant and each side using exactly the same hero, as in radiant using the heroes radiant using now and vice versa. Then have bsj to coach the dire instead. Both would have some experience like the dire would now know bsj is going to tell radiant to aim their dazzle, but radiant would also know to go on dazzle first and how important it is and probably more committed to it, because that am didn't seem to understand. it until maybe the last maybe 15min. The only other factor is just how well each player know those heroes because they are playing heroes they are familiar with.
@loveluclins
@loveluclins 10 ай бұрын
@@holohulolo No, dire would win so incredibly hard. They've got an infinitely better draft than radiant and the coaching is probably the only reason they lasted at all. It's kinda sad they pulled out such a tryhardy draft for a scrim tbh.

I think glimmer and forcestaff on either support would have been the way to go. No chance they'll have vision from having to kite. Especially late when nightstalker doesn't have inventory for dust. Also they won't go in unless you're out of position and as weird as it is. They wouldn't go on u if you were in between to your team. That would not be kiting. You could also just bait yourself into having nightstalker over extend like he did many times. But really y'all lost the last fight because you didn't know where the enemy was coming from and jumped for free. I always have a ward for fights only or where I think the fight is going to happen next. It's still tough playing dazzle when other team knows to kill you. It is what it is brother lol

Zeus of course ;) BSJs communication with Zeus wasn't very good this game. BSJ had a lot of implicit knowledge about what's important, which Zeus unfortunately didn't. But BSJ was too slow to realize that and made calls that Zeus couldn't handle like BSJ wanted him to. The problem was that Zeus playing in a certain way was really important in this game, which BSJ understood, but the players' natural playstyle wasn't like this, so Zeus had to learn in-game what this playstyle was, which obviously is really fucking hard. Big respect to the Zeus.

Ultimately they made this way harder than it needed to be, by making bad choices in the draft. Specifically picking AM is fine, picking NS is fine, but picking them both for this team was a bad call because it left them kind of limp in team fights vs the dawn breaker, earth spirit combo. If they would have had a tanky initiator, it would have made things way easier.

He had a real issue with reacting to instructions, though tbf it seemed like he genuinely couldn't hear a lot of the time. If there weren't several slow responses/weird plays before the "I didn't have TP" moment then it probably wouldn't have been an argument. Dude seemed kind of set in the standard mid mindset of aggressively farming top and bottom, and hoping to jump into a team fight halfway through to dump a ton of damage on the enemy. On the other hand, NS seemed like he kind of struggled with the coaching at first, but really quickly started reacting to what was being said in a less brainless way. After the first fuck up where he left his team behind in the smoke and threw the fight, he learned from his mistake and was more mindful to them. Really nice to see.

The AM was really bad in general, but to be fair they're the role where their mistakes will show the most in a team comp like this. Having to play frontline for a kiting comp without free pathing or being able to dash in/out like earth spirit is pretty hard I was so frustrated at him not basically spamming counterspell, there were so many times it was off cd and would've been very nice, and just a few general serious misunderstandings of what he could do (he had to be told to blink TP a bunch). This comes off as a player that knows how to farm pretty well, but has basically no idea of how to teamfight properly, very used to a-moving into the enemy team with a gold advantage and hoping it works out. Looked very uncomfortable doing anything other than jumping and bursting 1 target

I play almost exclusively backline support type heros and no matter how much mobility our cores have, so often it is impossible to persuade people to focus targets; Dazzle in particular comes up A LOT. It is always frustrating watching their key backliners live through a near 60 second fight after we jump on their hardest heroes heroes to kill (here dire has 3 tanky AF frontliners). All in all, really enjoyed the change of format and hope to see more Edu Smurfs in the future!
