Hahahahaha. Honestly there is a big mechanical difference between a Rank 1 player and Golds, but my point in this Unranked To GM was to show that even if you don't have GM mechanics, there are still a lot of things you can implement in your gameplay that would yield results.

His aim is above average. Many improper trances. At least he was able to catch it and admit the bad trances. Didn't track at any capacity when the other team had ults. I'm GM support as well and these "mistakes" if you'll call them that aren't game losing on a hero like zen where you can out dps most threats. To players who want to climb: If you made these mistakes on ana or brig who are much more game sense punishing you won't climb. Take notes on what he does right but the mistakes he makes are what separates a low GM player versus a consistent GM/scrims player. Not knowing a rein has shatter or when to play close to your team on heros like ana and brig you'll get punished and will be extremely frustrating to climb on. Zen is a character where if you apply game sense and aim he can be very abusive. He did a good job outlining parts where Zen can shine but his team did a great job holding space for him. Anyone can sit in the backline and shoot. I think he was distracted with his stream and stopped focusing on the game.

There are definitely parts where you are right, but also parts where you are wrong. Ana and Brig (or other supports for that matter) have nothing to do with that video (even though some of the fundamental understanding of what good positioning is on Ana can be applied to other supports). I have my Unranked To GM on Ana uploaded as well, where it's very clear what a good fundamental position is. About the parts where I don't track ults or do little things that could help me win more is exactly the point of the video. Most people don't track ults or don't know how to, I try to eliminate as many "advantages" as I can in the video, to show that just fundamental understanding of the game could put you at a higher rank. I have to admit that some of the bad trances that I did, were on purpose, just to show that trances are not a very significant part of how to practically climb the ladder with Zen. Basically, even though there are things that I did wrong, and there are definitely things that I could do better (Like ult tracking, communication), I still maintain a 93% Winrate. I wanted to appeal to the average player that doesn't necessarily talks on the mic, or can ult track consistently or get max value with their trance for example.

I gained about 300 SR in a day just by copying the positioning tips in this video. I didn’t realize Zen could be so effective at the lower ranks where I am. It’s basically find an off angle and welcome to spam city. The discord orb can basically wreck enemy teams. At lower ranks they don’t seem to understand what being discorded does. When your ult is up, play closer to your team and wait for their grav or nano blade or whatever.

What I always say to gold players is that since it's the average rank - You don't suck, you are average at worst and above average at best, it's a great rank to be in since there is a lot to work on and the improvement you see is pretty immediate

If you mean Orb sensitivity, it's just about preference. I tend to be more precise on who I put my crosshair on so having lower orb sensitivity suits me better. If you are still struggling with your aim, it's better to keep it at 100%

My guy should try it again now with Gold people being everything between braindamaged to top500 godmode. So starting to educate from Gold upwards is viable now imo. Im a 3100-3300 hardstuck and insanely impressed by many Gold players. Not only the aim, also positioning, decisionmaking and gamechanging ultimate-usage.

I climbed to 3.4 on Ana from watching your guides. But somehow, I've falled all the way down to 2.6, I just keep losing and losing and losing because I keep getting tank players who just walk in and feed, or we just get stomped by a smurf. The only people who say ELO Hell doesn't exist are top 500s. Is it possible to carry your way out with sick mechanics? Yes. But do you know what's easier than carrying? Your braindead tanks auto piloting down mjd, walking into full bunker spam and getting deleted before you can do anything.
