Edward 111 Penny York Mint. Third hammered silver coin same field found detecting. Medieval Site.

This the third medieval coin of an early Edward found on this field, two pennies now and a lovely groat. Finding ancient silver hand hammered medieval coins is always a great experience. After being stuck on 49 for a time I am now up to 52. Thousands of holes of course, they do not appear every time that is for sure so fabulous when they do.
