We had a monarchy here until 1918 when we were like Austria-Hungary... I respect all countries and their state institutions, but after all the British monarchy is a concept....

Please be kind towards Edward. His anxiety level is super high from the grief and stress he is under. That is most probably why he is not shaking hands at this time. He needs his hands free to self soothe himself. Watch his hands as he is walking along and talking. This is his way of coping with the crippling anxiety he suffers from. Charles has anxiety also, but not as bad. He tends to hide his self soothing with one hand in his pocket, which you can often see moving around in his jacket pocket. Charles and Edward are the sensitive ones of the late Queens children and possibly why suffer this. It's quite amazing how they cope considering such high profiles, especially Charles.
