My guess is that, Bella's blood is irresistible to most vampires, at the beginning of the Saga Edward said it was like his own personal brand of drug, Laurent found it "mouth watering" in the second film, Jasper lost it when she cut herself in her birthday party, and Alice said once she "do smell good". Also in Eclipse, Bella wanted to help during the battle and Edward said that the trace of her blood would be enough to distract the vampires. So she used that to get Victoria's and Riley's attention. I haven't read the books, but I have seen the movies several times, so that is my theory. Plus, I believe the wife of Taha Aki, the clan leader from the story was in emotional distress because of the loss of her son, so she wasn't thinking straight and decided to sacrifice herself as it was stated in the story.

That's the point I mean the Twilight vampires might sparkle and that's funny to most ppl BUT they're one of the most op vampires in the different Vampires universes, just reading their lore, and how they're described in the books 📚 they can lift hundreds of times their weight, (they are also faster than in some other vampires universes) they're deceptively scary because they sparkle and are like perfect beautiful, they don't posses fangs or scary Vamp faces, but as written they are terrifying because they're soo indestructible, they truly are scarier than other vampires but ppl think they're silly because of the way they were portrayed in the movies but wow when you truly focus on the lore and when in the books you focus on them, their strengths, abilities, etc, you really see how they are actually one of the most OP vampires that have been writing... They don't even sleep (which they might miss and which they probably could be something that they would miss when turning, but that's just another aspect of them they don't even need to rest).

Her gift "pulls" her to safety and makes her dodge attacks at the right moment etc. Like how she knew to instinctively stick around the border of the Quileutes lands since the Cullens couldn't cross it. It could potentially even extend to her knowing not to make any decisions that could trigger Alice's visions.
