Always good to hear from Snowden. I just watched the "Citizen Four" documentary for the first time. Seriously one of the most incredible things you can watch; you literally see Snowden's whistleblowing situation happening in real time as it happened, and you feel the intensity of the situation like no Hollywood movie would ever be able to recreate An absolute must watch. It just makes you appreciate what Snowden did in a whole new light that you just won't get otherwise.

a good doco for sure! I've watched it a few times since it was first released. I think I've consumed ALL Snowden docos? but possible maybe I've missed one or two? in any case, that one is definitely a good one!👍🧚🏾‍♀ but what about this KZbin channel? something is off + the QR scan opportunity? better to be conservative and avoid it. esp. if you have any Bitcoin stored 'in' software wallets or any cold storage wallets!😯

I'm surprised this video doesn't have more views. Ed and Jack talking sounds way too great. Thank you, Ed and Jack. I still have some faith in Twitter, but now that Elon released Grok behind a paywall, I feel quite saddened. I know that in the end this is a business and it should earn from something, but I don't feel happy using my posts to train an AI and then to pay to use it. Also prioritizing posts by subscribed users is simply not fair and distort the popularity of tweets and the whole feed. It sounds like X is changing to something I don't like. But let's see what will happen. Also, thank you Ed for mentioning Julian Assange. He shouldn't be forgotten.

He was a Young Global Leader pf the WEF just like Xi Putin Trudeau Musk and CZ and SBF. They are all agents of the WEF set to destroy the United States. The more the claim decentralized the more it feels like they are all putting black boxes in our cars and homes just like in airplanes. And Jack was not naive. You are naive to think that. Just like those retards on bluesky who Said Laser Weapons DEWs were a hoax yet Israel just announced they are using them. To think they didn't exist before is to be knowingly ignorant. 01:08:15 "Delayed justice is not justice, but qualified and manifest injustice" Rui Barbosa "Memoir", Seymour Hersh, last chapter "America's War on Terror" >> At a later point, Obey told me, he had gone to see Cheney and David Addington, the vice president’s counsel, and told them they were violating the Constitution by conducting their off-thebooks operations without any congressional authorization and funding. The answer was, in essence, that President Bush had the authority to do whatever he deemed necessary in wartime. The specific message he got from the two men, Obey told me, was: “If you don’t like what we’re doing, go into federal court and sue us.”

Maybe this is just a knee-jerk reaction, but having Jack Dorsey interviewing Edward Snowden almost feels like two people on opposite extremes. Dorsey talks about how difficult it was to overcome and push back against the government who was pushing Twitter to sensor, yet he didn't even mention that the act of pushing back was done by musk who had no trouble doing it with the Twitter files. Am I to understand the Jack Dorsey was not that motivated or creative to have done a somilar thing? Let's not forget The Dorsey was in control and accepting all this manipulation.... And then he essentially walked away with a big payout, and now he's all fawning over Edward Snowden who did a very courageous thing. Snowden certainly didn't walk away with a big payout.... And musk certainly was able to do a similar act to what Snowfen did.... Was Jack just too weak or afraid?

@@philosphorus That's tough to hear. I'd suggest finding like-minded people and forming relationships with them. Economic, social, romantic or whatever. Humans are social beings. It can get hard to go at it alone. Talking and laughing with others who see the world similarly might help. Also the sense of security and ease of mind that comes with being a member of a tightknit group that is largely self sustainable should not be underestimated. It's probably easier than ever to find "your people" with the digital communication technology that exists these days. There's also more old fashioned low tech ways to find compatriots

Big thumbs down to Edward! 1) I disagreed with his criticism of Elon Musk and when you hear he's trying to promote a platform that is direct competition to X made him sound quite disingenuous. 2) Thanking Jack for everything then criticising the people he worked with for just sitting by and watching what was going on. Why don't we use namecoin style stuff. That is the blockchain plus having to have the right token to proof ownership and right to modify public keys, makes the best key server conceivable. It also is much more decentralized and ideal for DNS records and for SSL certificates and many other uses. Those middlemen and "authorities" are a huge danger themselves and create very large well known attack possibilities. I am surprised as brilliant a person and cryptography expert as Snowden doesn't mention such sketch of solution in more detail or at least mention it and why it may not be good enough if it isn't. And everyone that has a wallet already has a keypair and knows how to use it. Signature stuff is easy.

Back then it was anonymous but now it's least private for of money and nobody is working on a fix. The code hasn't been touched in years. Then you have monero which is actually anonymous and is being actively worked on to work out problems that come up here and there. Using btc for anything is just setting up a scenario of dissapointment sometime in the near future.......... and it's not like we don't have an alternative working solution already.
