I'd rather the slow burn on this one, and they get together in season 3, but not 2. I really want them to build slowly cuz I have a few questions regarding them, (like how they met for one thing and how long they've been roommates for) and I want to see more of their friendship before they romantically get together. I'd also like to see Nell realize her feelings first when the time come. Yes, Edward looked at her with "love goggles" at the end, but I don't think he realized his feelings.
