I think it is because all the characters were misdefined by the book HIT put out and Thomas was basically defined as a cheeky child and both HIT and Matel played into that with a naive Thomas learning the same lesson over and over and continuing to be cheeky until late in the series…AEG isn’t a true reboot and just plays off the target audience which is toddlers so the main character of the TV series remained babyish himself while the show basically became a 2D Chuggington

Honestly that was my favorite part other than Edwards Driver saying :as long as he's happy. Lovely work as always! Thomas appearing out of thin air was a goofy addition. I always love the little jokes you toss in to help these adaptations stand out. One small complaint - it looks like you slightly messed up the timing on Gordon's lip sync. That's an easy thing to mess up, so don’t worry too much about it - just keep it in mind for next time.
