Wow! Jim Bowie’s knife didn’t hold a candle what this fella just created. I’ve seen a lot of good authentic Bowie Knives here in Texas. Really like this one

Really wish you narrated this, a few of those steps I'm not sure what you were doing or why. Like the liquid and sand paper on the blade. What grit paper, what was the liquid?

Why do you heat the steel surface? Can you tell me this, brother? I'm making knives. I live in a forest or rural area. I don't have much knowledge about these things. Can you tell me at what temperature do you bake it? For what reason? I really don't know, brother. I use Google Translate. Sorry, I really don't have much knowledge. But I want to learn so that I can use the water to use with knives at my house. Thank you for the answer. 🙏🏻 Thailand

Heating the blade to red hot and quenching it(dunking it in oil) hardens the blade. The baking of the blade is used to temper it cause if the blade is to hard it can snap easily so we temper it to toughen the blade up at 175-350°C (347-662°F) for 2 hours usually 2 cycles. You can quench a blade with cooking oil and then temper it in an oven. If any other oil that is not cooking oil is used you would need a dedicated tempering oven as those fumes could be toxic for a normal oven used to cook food

@@nk266 Thank you, brother. Sharing knowledge, I will use it in the right way so that I can create good works like yours. For my family to use so I don't have to buy it from someone else. 🙏🏻🥰

Не пойму с какой целью диском делались нарезы, функции никакой, ни для разрезов сухожилий, ни для распила металла, ни для перекусания проволоки 🙄🤪

Why put a false saw back on any knife? Looks? Because a saw blade has teeth that cut a curf larger than the blade and this one doesn’t. A fighting knife should not have a saw back, because it has the potential to become caught in clothing or armor. I refuse to purchase a pocket knife with a saw back blade because they are useless. A Cerated blade is OK if you need a rope wrench. Now a good multitool that has a proper saw blade in it is very good, but generally a dedicated saw is needed.
