NIGHTOWLING IN SIEM REAP With 50c beer and Crocodile steak

Are you a nightowl? I always have been. I thought, as I get older, I'll start going to bed early like normal people, but it never seems to happen. So I'll continue prowling the streets of places like Siem Reap in the dead of night looking for a meaning to life. I haven't found one yet, but, in this vlog, I do find 50c beer, some friendly characters and a Crocodile restaurant. Well, that's good enough for me!

Hi, Conan. Sok San Road area is a great area of Siem Reap. Full of life and with some reasonable priced budget hotels. You could get a nice hotel for around $20 USD.

Hi, mate. This very lively area is Sok San Road, just down from the well known X bar. It's very cheap, full of life day or night, and has a real charm to it. Well worth a visit. They play some great rock music in the bars as well.

Hi, Eddie. I was thinking of that when I edited the video. Don't forget, it was three am at that time and I'd had a few beers. On a serious note, Eddie, when you are traveling to these place you have to keep your guard up. There are plenty of thieves around who are looking to steal your phone, camera, wallet, anything and you have to be suspicious of strangers. And girls can be as bad as fellas. I know of cases where guys have been over friendly and ended up getting robbed. I've never been robbed in these countries. I want it to stay that way.
