I believe Kate and Anthony got lost in their sense of duty to their families. Let's not forget that Edwina told Kate she actually loved Anthony. Of course it would be Edwina putting a stop to the wedding as well and good for her. Although, I have to say that "half-sister" killed me. Kate's heart was in the right place but her decisions were poor. I believe it is written in the book that Edwina had to be strong for herself but Kate had to be strong for them both; I think that reveals a lot.

Edwina clearly mentions that she wants the kind of life that marrying to Anthony would offer her in a scene...I don't think Edwina was truly in love with Anthony

She was about to tell Edwina everything about Anthony but she did not precisely because Edwina told her she loved him. And later when Kate met with Anthony and pushed for him to go on with the wedding. Kate could not stand to see Edwina in pain.

I hate they made this a love triangle. Kate and edwina had such a strong relationship in the book and she never fell for Anthony. It was always Kate and Anthony. But she did such a good job as Edwina.

I have my qualms with this love triangle because I think it could have been better if we have more scene and dynamic between Edwina and Kate. There are only 2 scenes (their first dance and their sweet conversation at Aubrey hall) where we see a good dynamic and chemistry between Edwina and Anthony. And it’s not enough for a good love triangle. However I LOVE the fact this love triangle fleshed out tremendously Edwina as a character compared to the books. Just for that, I appreciate this love triangle.

Man i read half of the book and this was not how it went, some of the things were the same but when kate and anothony got together edwina was happy, well i haven't finished the book yet so ion know the rest

Here' s the thing right. I get where Kate was coming from with what she did. I can understand it. However, Edwina had every right to be angry. Yet, it was a situation in which Kate was mostly in the wrong and a little in the right while Edwina mostly in the right and a little in the wrong. She had the right to be angry for Kate having lied, for her getting played with. But she had no right throwing all the years Kate had given up for her away. Kate had given her the life she had, a life she seemingly loved. So it's kinda complicated

anthony and kate just truly realized what they’re feeling towards each other after it was way too difficult to turn around and do different. they had the society and all the odds agaisn’t them, anthony didn’t want to marry for love and had a trauma about it (and edwina knew that from the start, thinking she could change his mind and heart), he was frightened… kate tried to tell her several times, i mean, they were humans scared about their feelings and what kind of collateral damage it could cause, edwina was just a side of it, blind with positivity and marriage plans when she should’ve known his worst sides too

Y’all don’t have to dislike Kate and Anthony to realize that what they did was wrong. Edwina deserved better. They should have been honest with her instead of leading her to believe she was loved by Anthony. It’s not fair. I don’t care how perfect Kate and Anthony are. Family is more important (in my opinion) and breaking that is terrible.

Edwina is lovely, but the way she spoke to Kate the second time after running out of the church bothers me so much. "I did not ask for this" girl you were all but drooling over "bEinG hIs VisCoUntEsS" mere hours ago, at least give your big sis some credit for a real nice try to not mess it up. I'm yet to finish the season, but my verdict is ready: Anthony is an idiot (and the villain here), both Sharma girls deserved better.

Yes, she did not ask for this because she knew nothing that she was been auctioned for sale to the highest bidder so that her family would get out of their financial position. She really thought it was her deciding to fall in love. You see, intention matters.

@@pelindalivesonmychannel4191 Kate's intention was nothing like "auctioning her for sale". Edwina wanted to get married (there are no indications that she didn't), and Kate did everything in her power to make sure she marries for love. She did mess up, but that's not about her intentions.

While I agree that Kate did everything in her power to marry her sister to the best suitor available, she was also her biggest blockade when they got to the finish line. Kate and Anthony's "slow burn" was just a slap on Edwina's face. Girl was been kept in the dark while her feelings were growing stronger. If someone did this to you in real life, it really hurts.
