EE vs Vodafone vs 3 - Battle of the UK Mobile providers!

Hello Internet,
In today's video, we are going to be looking at three of the biggest mobile networks over in the U.K.
EE, Vodafone, and 3 - are the big players over in the U.K. so we are looking at the options and trying to see which is best for price speed coverage as well as other important factors.

I’m literal here because I had to see if it’s just me that suffers with three. I don’t know where to start lol. Iv been with them since 2013 and lemme tell anyone watching this do not under any circumstances go to three. If you go to central london or in a shopping centre forget about itttt you won’t get service (even with 4 bars) until you leave

As a Three user here I can say its horrible from experience, even if the bars appears to be full with 4G next to it everything still takes a while to load. Planning to switch to EE or Vodafone soon.

Same here. Go to the vodafone from 13 of Jul. I wanted to pay my parking ticket by phone (three) it was a piece of s*** other guy next to me paid in seconds he is on the vodafone network…

Three user, is , everytime when I visit city centres like Birmingham shopping area, Coventry City centre, I can't make or receive call or access the Internet, although reception is great.

That’s due to them not buying enough bandwidth for its customers the exact same thing happens to me on giffgaff which is why I’m moving back to Vodafone but there voxi deals instead

I got sick to the back teeth of friends enjoying a programme on their Vodaphone or EE network while I sat there as usual watching the all too familiar little circle go round and the caption appearing 'No Connection'. I think that 'Three' should re-name their network 'No Connection'. In most areas the Three signal is unreliable and abysmal.

I use Smarty which is owned by Three and get good network speeds and coverage! However I can definitely confirm that EE has the best network in the UK. But EE prices are not competitive….

I use plusnet which is owned by EE however I am soon switching to smarty as coverage isn’t as good as promised. They also don’t yet provide ee 5g on plusnet yet

With Three it's a big gamble. Good prices and good speeds IF you're lucky. In my old apartment I got excellent signal, in my new one there is next to no signal indoors or at work.

I was with EE for 12 years and just switched to Vodafone, EE 4g speeds are faster but vodafone seems to be more reliable overall. Only reason for change was EE just point blank refused to match vodafones deal.

Why should they? They are significantly faster and better covered than Vodafone. Their network isnt even comparable to Vodafone. Don't even get me started with their customer service - worst in the world!

O2 is crap and 3 is just a another BT up my ass network and Vodafone is ok And Lyca mobile is very bad when your far out so the winner is EE

I live in a semi rural area and I find that outside the Vodafone signal is the fastest, then EE which is decent and then o2 which is slightly slower than EE and then 3 and I think the other comments accurately sum up 3. My wifi speed is sitting around 0.5 megabits per second so inside signal is crucial. I find that close to a window or around the edges of the house Vodafone is always the fastest however EE works ‘decently’ everywhere in the house. Does anyone know if it is worth getting a cheaper EE deal by using a network that piggybacks off of EE such as 1p mobile or will that negatively impact the signal strength?

In my opinion Vodafone is well worth avoiding. The support seems to be non existent and after canceling you can get hit with charges which they don't tell you about which you only find out if doing a credit reference check.

Man. Also avoid 3. Their network is absolutely terrible. Their 5G is JUST fine but their 4G & 3G networks are terrible. Unless money is difficult or 3 is the only network that works in your area, never go with them

Never get a contract with any provider. Customer service is bad and the contract means you are stuck with expensive roaming options. MVNO's like 1p Mobile, Id Mobile, Voxi, and Lebara are cheaper and have better roaming deals, with 1p being the best.

EE are switching off their 3g network next year as are Vodafone. I assure you 4g isn't just for cities it's the defacto standard has been for years. EE s network is significantly better than its competition its not even comparable. I'm on all four networks EE have been my main for years now.

@@frenchguy202 I'm just saying the O2 are a really bad network and the predominantly they use 3G. I have a SIM card which lets me log on to all four networks in the UK and lately I've been using O2 and I've been predominantly stuck on their 3G network whenever I leave London. I hold the ever get 4G with O2 and 5G don't even get me started. I didn't say they weren't using 4G I just said that I think they're going to struggle to get everyone onto 4G instead of 3G because they still haven't managed it in 2023 most people are still using their 3g network when not in a city. I don't know why they are so far behind I really don't I used to love O2 and they used to be at the forefront of everything I don't know what happened to them.

@@techprojournal4469 as a Three user in Indonesia, I also have the same experience. The internet packages are cheap. I can get 25GB internet plan just for IDR 25000 (£1.40) for a month, but the coverage is not wide enough and the 4G quality is poor even in central of a big city.

@techprojournal4469 I use unlimited 4G Vodafone on s21 ultra and Redmagic 8 pro , Both are struggling with gaming. On WiFi, they are really good. The excuse Vodafone and EE are using is the map they cover. I was with EE for around 5 years, with Vodafone 2 years . On both unlimited programs .
