awesome explanation, thanks very much. The only part that wasn't clear for me was at the point 22:11 concerning the different paths of the voltage induced in the total voltage. In your explanation you chose the path 2'-2-1'-1, my question is: could it be 2'-2 only? Meaning that the induced voltage goes from the part c of the commutator to the part b of it.

Thanks for linking. You are right, you can also move from one brush to the other by moving through the path segment_c - coils 2'-2 - segment_b. Again, you see that the total voltage between the two brushes is 2e.
