Eejanaika at Fuji-Q Highland is the sequel to X2. This is one of three 4th dimension roller coasters like it in the world. Built by S&S, this coaster opened in 2006 and it could be the world's most intense ride as it inverts you 14 times. But does it fix the flaws of X2? Find out in this review!

I've been watching you for a few months now, and every video convinces me more and more that this is the best enthusiast channel out there. Sure, coaster enthusiasts are not deprived of good channels, but it is amazing how detailed your reviewing is. You put so much detail into describing each micro-sensation that is probably not noticeable unless you are focusing extremely hard. You casually review each sensation of this berserk beast, something almost every single person would find damn near impossible without riding fifty times. A lot of people say this is an extremely underrated channel, and I strongly believe, like all your subscribers, that you should have at least 300k subscribers, if not more. Thank you for all your effort.

Honestly? I have a very difficult time trying to explain these 4 d coaster rides. I have only been on X2 even when the fire effect worked, and I am just amazed at the creation. Yes, it could be smoother during the seat rotation, but exactly how the outer track controls the rotation, I’m not sure how they could fix that. The fact that the outer track rotates the seat is amazing in creation. You are rotated to experience every element at the perfect visual perspective!! Amazing!!!!

I really want to ride this, because X2 is one of my favorites. But until your video I forgot about the way X2 bounced and painfully slammed my calves against the seat. I guess I blocked out the bad parts of X2 from my memory. Thanks for another great review.

Great detailed review! It could be my new # 1, but that tedious process of checking restraints could stifle my excitement. I love that I have been able to get tons of rides on X2 when I'm there, and I wonder if being limited by long lines and slow operations could effect how I feel about Eejanaika. X2's operations have been fairly good when I've visited. I wish you could have said that Eejanaika was smooth, as my S&S experiences have all been very smooth, but I might be okay with the shaking. As a side note, I really like X2's turnaround. I love the view, and I appreciate the break from the insanity. It kind of makes the following craziness even more crazy, at least it does for me.

I've never been on one of these or even been close to one. So it looks like there is an extra pair of rails (one rail on the outer side of each main rail) that seems to have some smaller wheels that ride along it. Is this what controls the seat rotation?

I finally rode it today! 60min wait, was a single, but no single line and had an empty seat beside me, wasn't the only empty seat going out, so annoying. Luckily I was at the back inside. At 183cm and wide shouldered, I found the seats very tight and especially arm room, I could not hold the handle with my right arm, just no space, would be tough for even taller people. After the dodonpa issues they are even stricter now on safety and drilling you on keeping your head back, legs tight and hold the handles. You even get a safety brief and practice a three step chant with the safety leader several times. Head, hands, feet. I thought it was surprisingly smooth considering the amount of motion, I really tried to focus anticipating and following the motion like I was a pilot in control of it. Seemed to work ;) As they drummed in head hands feet. I really locked down my legs, didn't notice them banging at all. Rode Takabisha immediately after. Both amazing for different reasons.

Japanese wear a lot of slip ons and wear their sneakers very loosely (due to shoes being on and off all day ) it's just easier to make everyone take off their shoes, than just those with sandals/slips ons even if your sneakers are cinched, same with glasses with restraining bands. You should try the blanket rule of everyone must wear swim caps at gym pools..even bald people. Blanket rules make enforcement easier especially at theme parks.
