I think everything can be a bad experience. And each surgery can be risky. If you like yourself and don't have money, you can stay as you are. But sometimes people really need it. For example after a breast cancer. We are happy that this exists in a way. But if it isn't necessary, you're right, avoid surgery.

What plastic surgeons do not tell you is when you get breast implants it is a lifelong commitment... I have breast implants and I have had no issues with them but now that I'm getting older seriously thinking about taking them out all together.

Even for perfectly done implants and perfect post op recovery...implants need to be replaced every 10 years or so depending on the condition of the implant. Quite an investment. It is not a one time procedure.

Capsulation is a high risk factor to get cancer, after that kind of reaction you should always use body's own tissue to enlarge breasts, for example WAL, water assisted liposuction.

i had an infection after a breast lift. it was awful went to the hospital because just puss everywhere. thankfully my plastic surgeon took me in the next day ( couldnt go in immediately because it was like 2 am when i went into the er but the dr answered his phone thankfully) and next day went into the office, they flushed out all the infection with saline and upped my antibiotics ( turned out the original antibiotics werent working for some reason? idk) but anyway i know how terrifying an infection in the breast can be

They were probably the wrong antibiotics to kill the bacteria. People go on about Golden Staph and MRSA, but this is how it happens. I had a nasty bout of pneumonia a few years back, which was caused by a bacteria that lives in soil, and is resistant to every antibiotic except one. My doctor prescribed it, and I started to improve. A junior doctor took me off it, saying it couldn't possibly be the bacteria THAT HAD SHOWN UP ON THE TEST RESULTS, TWICE!! I was airlifted to our capital city 36 hours later, as I'd developed pericarditis, and one lung was collapsing. It was scary, but one of my doctors was a friend, who tried her best to reassure me that I'd be OK. One of my nurses was a friend from highschool too.

I had a bilateral mastectomy last year and six weeks post-op, in October ‘23, the right side developed an infection and I had to have the expander removed. I nearly died from sepsis. I had a new expander placed last month (June ‘24) and because of the eight months with nothing in the pocket has left me with a similar look to her right side. Mine’s supposed to be temporary, since I don’t have the implants yet, but I know how she feels.

What I wouldn't give to be on their botched by nature show. Through my whole 40 yrs of life I've live with less then an A cup of breast. I just don't feel like a woman, I've been bullied about it. It's given me severe depression. I've NEVER taken off my bra in front of a man and I have 3 kids so that says something. All I've ever wanted was just to look normal. 😢

Please do not sacrifice feeling normal for the sake of "looking" normal. Whatever you do artificially, it will only be temporary; you will eventually return to the unsatisfied loop. Just focus on things other than appearance.

Aww that's not botched by nature, that's just another variation of nature. I've barely got much going on myself, 32AA lol, yet I've met plenty of wonderful men who are happy I am the way I am who wouldn't want me to risk surgery for something I didn't need to. I won't deny I sometimes think about getting implants myself, but learning to love and be confident with yourself really is the most important thing (even if you may be tired of hearing that). Bullies suck and can sure mess ya up in the head, but I hope you can find a way to be happy boobjob or not
