The actress wasn't very good at the accent and she found it really difficult. So after a while the higher-ups let her drop the accent in an atempt to make out she lost it over time being in London

Technically Vicky being born and raised in London, moving to America and back, it wouldn't be strange to have a London accent. That's probably quite realistic. Den was so cruel forcing Dennis to choose between the family and Sharon. Vicky just wanted her siblings and her dad
