For whatever it's worth, I'm glad to see the recent scope videos for newly released models in the sub-$1000 (sub-$500 in this case) price range. This kind of detailed information isn't easy to come by.

I would really like to see Dave buy one himself and see if there are any differences. If I were Siglent sending him one, I would hand pick the best one, and make sure everything that he has mentioned in his past reviews were done. Like the silastic around all the caps, the wires being threaded through the fan, and the red gunk on the connectors. The big thing that comes to mind with the lack of rust is this a first run product, so no time in storage for the rust to start. I'd like to see Dave put it in his bunker for a couple of months and if I were a betting man, rust would appear. I may just be a skeptic, but I hate when companies send things in to "review". I prefer KZbinrs that buy the product off the shelf themselves, a less bias review.

I just ordered one, this will be my first digital scope and I'm intending to use it to read signals generated for ultrasonic transducers in the 100hz-1mhz ranges.
