This album has no business being as good as it turned out. It didn't feel long, and the skits were great. The sequencing is on point, the production is versatile and still cohesive. Im satisfied.

@Eeze True, that's a valid point . I was apprehensive, too, but in the sense that I was worried about his ability to execute and pull off a long album at this stage of his career especially when he's been dropping those jack boi beatz freestyles for the better part of a year. He always gave us long ass 20+ song albums.

I’m not mad at this album at all. I agree with you when it comes to great listen. My drive to work is 1hr 10mins to 1hr to 30mins and Red had me in my bag. The singles sound better in the flow of the album. I love the begin sample of Jersey . Pop the trunk is fire too. Real Live Pop the trunk with the Redman sample is my jawn too. Lalala Goofy Aye Superman Luv Dynomite Jersey

This album fit the Muddy Waters era RedMan perfectly, it evoked the same feeling as the original Muddy Waters album without sounding like a rehash. I’ve yet to play them back to back but I’m certain it’ll sound cohesive.

Jersey, Don't wanna see Me Rich, Soopaman luva, Kush, Lalala Hoodstar, , Dynomite Goofy The ALBUM has a lot of BANGERS. It's hard to fully get through it because there are so many Tracks. 32 tracks.... I was thinking double or almost triple CD. The skits were DEFINITELY REGGIE NOBLE

It's a well appreciated album with a 17 year gap between Muddy Waters Too and Red Gone Wild. This is the genius of Reggie Noble giving us that "Nineteen Ninety Now" album he was talking about and my favorite 3 tracks are: Ignant, Kush and Soopa Man Luva 7/Continued

I only heard it twice, so it's too early to form an opinion yet. But one problem I picked up on was some outdated lyrics. I know this album been in works for like 10 years, but I really don't need to hear another rapper from the 90s complaining about how hip hop sounds nowadays. I thought we were past that point. Also, hearing him mentioning Diddy in a positive light... 😂
@alvinaponte17067 күн бұрын
One reason of many I lost interest in hip hop was the beats in the last 4 years coming out. No drums no bass felt like everyone was taking short cuts. How do you enjoy that at a concert. Now, I'm still playing Nas magic/ kd hard but listening to this album brought joy back.

Reggie had bars on this one! It seems to me like the old heads are quite literally holding down hip hop. From Redman to Masta Ace to Nas to Snoop. And the quality of the releases are astonishing. Aside from TDE, today’s so-called hip hop artists should be straight up embarrassed. The old heads are holding it down!

I think theres 2 categories of Red fans. The fans lile myself who prefer the hard-core reggie with a splash of comedic barz( What Thee, Dare IZ, Muddy, , Docs, Black out albums) Then the fans who like the full blown silly comedic Red. (Malpractice, Red gone wild, Reggie). For instance Dare Iz my fav Red album.

Redman a legend but i think that's how you should fall back as🫡 the album was not needed it was a having something to prove album the flow will never be as witty as the beginning that's why i said legends should just leave it there with no return for comparison how they was its like when Michael Jordan retired and came back people accepted him because of his history but really he was burn out the game back in the mix of younger hungrier players Redman one of my favorites as well that's why i think he should been remembered instead of making a something to prove come back record after decades it'll never be another muddy waters classic again that's like the How High movie with him and Meth it will never be another i listen to a few songs from part 2 online nomore than 4 or 5 its just when the flow is not what it used to be it takes away my drive listening to a whole album of just putting any words together lyrical out there that's not drawing me in accepting it for greatness🤔 see how many features on it as well taking so long to drop should make the artist stingy with sharing unless they need lyrical break help.
