If I have a the manual harness with the t5 conversion can I still use the original automatic computer?

I believe the car will run, but I used a manual computer. Not really sure what the long term implications are.

I do have a manual ECU and the matching BCM I have a full dona manual Gli base model EF falcon but my issue is I want to put the T5 conversion into an EF series 1 (not a Tickford) Fairmont but still want everything to work like the climate control ect

Hi Mike, does the speed sensor red wire from the manual transmission go to power wire (injectors etc)? Or to the starter relay circuit?

Not sure I did not mess with an y individual wires, I just swapped the whole harness out.

I am a fellow who is a bit crippled due to an accident and I find that driving my manual AU Falcon manual ute is now very painfull. I bough an AU Falcon automatic sedan as a parts car to convert the ute from manual to a t-bar auto. Can this be done? And will it work? The plan was to simply swap the whole engine transmission unit, complete with the wiring harness and change the body control module. Is this how it is done?

Yes it can be done, worst job is swapping out the pedal box and wiring harness. The rest is just bolt in bolt out.

@@MikesManCaveThank you for your advice. I am in no condition to do this conversion myself,but I have a very smart self taught Ford mechanic, who told me he can do it, so I will give him the go ahead.
