EF-M 15-45mm Review

7:52 Yes, "pancake" EF-M 22mm f/2.0 is a great lens. Canon M50 is still a very good camera in 2023. It takes beautiful photos and HD 1080p videos, but 4K is already a hassle. If you want to make good 4K videos, look for another camera like Canon R50, R10 or Sony a6400, a6700 etc.

22mm is much sharper lens. 22mm is cheaper than the 15-45mm new and like i said much much sharper. I love my 22mm.

I like to use the kit lens for B-roll when I record video. Usually in daylight or shade for zoom and trucking shots.

I found it totally crappy and sold it after some uses. Now I use a 18 - 105 mm EF-S lens with an adapter. Thats way better and more flexible.

Nice work Angela. I was lucky to buy mine brand new with the two kit lens 15-45mm + 55- 200mm for about $600 in Europe. I'm thinking of going with vintage lenses soon

Thank you for another video, Angela. I’m use kit only for video recording because it have a stabilizer and much closer in focal range than others (except 11-22), it gives you possibility to take a selfie video from your hands. But if I want to take a clear shot - it’s time for 32 1.4

I love the kit lens for everyday standard use and close-up pictures I take. The only complaints I have with the kit lens is in low light situations and the lack of blurriness due to the aperture values. That's why I'm tryna get my hands on the 32mm f1.4

I actually don't use the Kit lens because the quality Is not so good, the only use I can give to it is as a prime 15mm lens. Thinking about getting the 22mm F2 again, it was the "kit" lens for the EOS M1 and it's just gorgeous. However, I recommend to get the camera with the kit lens since it will be included for almost no money.

I just adjust the ISO when using the 15-45mm kit lens. It is perfect during outdoor settings, architecture, landscape and real estate which I can exercise my composition through it’s focal length.I pull my 22mm 2.0 and sigma 30mm 1.4 which is perfect during lowlight. For traveling I always bring two lenses, this 15-45mm and sigma 30mm lens. I’m happy with it.

I have 22mm from an older eos-m camera. I intend on getting m50ii. I'm having a dilemma, do I get it with the kit lens or do I get just the body and invest in a viltrox speed booster + sigma 16mm. Any advice? I will be filming myself and food type videos for you tube. Any advice appreciated.

I am Fuji shooter, I got as a gift Canon M3, and so I bought this lens used, immaculate condition for 78€. I am very happy with the general travel situation. Not that bright in low light condition, but it makes great photos. Very sharp at f8. CIAO

I have my eye on that one too!!! I feel like I’m always switching lenses when I’m out and about so the range on it might allow me to stick to just one or switch less. When I get it I will most definitely review it. I use premiere pro btw 😀👌🏽
