Thanks so much for putting this up, it’s fun to see myself doing these tours, I do miss the place and the job. I actually remember this particular tour and the “special person” 😂🤣 it was always a joy to get a few in the crowd that would engage and get the idea of the tour.

Yes strange title but also didn't like the narrow frame. Like looking through a letter box on its side. lol

The mans brilliant . Question do they still get the queens shilling on joining up ? If so hes done well as jr says living in a palace central london where a flat can cost over a £1 million and free parking

Bill should could up with a smooth, and clever, link between, where he tells the crowd that the Tower was buildt as a palace and fortress, and talking about the first prisoner: the French bishop.

musik102: Ranulf Flambard, Bishop of Durham, was Norman rather than French. Other than the Channel Islands, the Duchy of Normandy was not annexed to the Kingdom of France until the year 1204, a fact confirmed by the 1259 Treaty of Paris.

@@anghinetti So there were only Normans in Normandy? Where did all the French go, who were lived there, when the Normans arrived in the 10th century?
