Hello. To JEC for posting this, without my knowledge or consent, I say thank you, it has made people laugh, it pleases me no end, there are many that didn't enjoy the commentary and to those I say that's okay, I do hope it's not put you off a visit to the Tower, there's such a lot more to see and do. However you feel, feel free to comment but please; there's nothing to Argue or get Angry about, so be nice. Happy Christmas & New Year Ps I'm on the same gig tomorrow!

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful man last year when I volunteered to help plant the poppies. He came down and met us, had photos taken and was honestly a person that made me incredibly proud to be British. Such a kind and friendly man and a credit to his service. Thank you so much. X

This man deserves a BAFTA. Totally brilliant, if history lessons were like this at school, I am sure far more interest and 'historians'. Good on yer Sgt.Maj.

We were fortunate enough to have Bill as a guide in September '14. It was my wife's birthday and he posed for a photo with her after his guided tour. His tour alone justified the entry fee. He brought history to life.
@mussie30213 жыл бұрын
I love it! This guy is fantastic. How refreshing to hear some digs at a few nationalities for a laugh, just like we used to do. It's only in fun, and not malicious. It's a sad world now where we can't laugh at each other and with each other any more without everyone being offended. This man winds the clock back. What a great character!

A great advert for the country and for the British Army. It's men like this who possess great character, personality, humour, intellect, recall and sheer presence that characterise all that's best about the British people. If ever history could be made fascinating and memorable here's the man to teach it. My sides are still hurting from laughter - absolutely unspeakably brilliant.

We just returned from a family trip to London and was AMAZED by this man just this past Friday (18 FEB 11) when we visited the Tower of London. These clips are almost word for word, what we experienced with the "charm" of Yeoman Bill Callaghan (who now sports his nicely trimmed reddish beard). Our young daughters took quite a fright to him though, but my wife and I LOVED HIM! Yeoman Callaghan is one-in-a-million and holds nothing back! We need more of this man in America!

This guy is tremendous. If his 'superiors' are giving him a hard time they should get a grip. This guy is fantastic. If anyone takes offence they ought to harden up. He is genuinely funny and witty and a great asset to the institution for which he works. He is the sort of soldier who would have been a fantastic instructor. He is a communicator par excellence. There aren't enough of them around.

@spoiltrottenbeads- I had a history teacher just like this.First lesson of 'Home Rule for Ireland' he began,"First thing you must remember - the Irish are mad".Wonderful!Compliment to the Irish & immediately made the subject appealing to "rebellious" teenagers.When attention is grasped then you can bring in balanced discussion.This man has great sympathy for many women in our history & for the ordinary people.He's even honest about our asset stripping Empire.The PC Brigade do more harm than good
