Worse still, "The EARLIEST BUDDHIST TEXTS were not committed to writing until some CENTURIES AFTER the death of Gautama Buddha. The oldest surviving Buddhist manuscripts are the Gandhāran Buddhist texts, found in Afghanistan and written in Gāndhārī, they date from the first century BCE to the third century CE." BUDDHISM is just FALSEHOOD. Everyone who believe in falsehood will incur the fury of the ALL-POWERFUL, ALL-KNOWING, INFINITELY the MOST WISE CREATOR of the universe. What is the consequence of this but to be thrown into HELLFIRE FOREVER.

So much ignorance in this video, sorry to say. The Buddha is not divinity, he is not a God. Anyone can attain the same level of realization as him, which is why Buddhism is not a theistic religion. Now to go into your "evidence" regarding the Quran coming from God: 1. The fact that the Quran is consistent does not mean it comes from God in the slightest. Just like a good writer can write a fiction book free of any logical errors or contradictions, so too the writer of Quran could have written it without any apparent mistakes. This does not make them God. 2. Parchments of quranic text have been radiocarbon dated to the period between 568 and 645 with 95.4% accuracy. From studying idiosyncratic orthography of the manuscripts, it has been pretty much confirmed that the Quran was compiled under the rule of caliph Uthman - meaning from 644 CE. And when did the Byzantines win? In 630. So basically this "prediction" is worthless, it actually postdates the war.

The main one is the Pali Canon, which was initially transmitted orally and written down ~450 years after the death of Gautama Buddha, by a council of monks. They had it memorized through recitation. In general, through various indicators, scholars are in agreement that the Pali Canon originated from the Buddha himself. This was during a time when not many texts were being written down at all, over 500 years before the Quran. Most Buddhists are not too concerned about reliability of the texts, because the value of the teachings is self-evident. Buddhism is very practical, you implement the teachings and you experience the results for yourself. It's not about blind faith.

@@CJ-ff1xq Buddhist are not concern about reliability because of the teaching make sense. So then they should have no issue with Islam because it is very well documented. The most documented prophet in history. Companion knew which side he slept and knew how many white hair on his beard. The message alone is straight forward worship no human. Worship creator however it seems many have difficulty on concentrating on message because they concentrate on the messenger. However for those who thing reliability is important it is there. Prophet didn't just brought a book. He then show how to worship and how to implement it in daily life.

@@kashkash9244 I don’t actually have a problem with Islam or people believing in it. I just wanted to refute some of the points made in the video. Islam does not lead to liberation, the end of suffering as defined by the Buddha. After all, that is not even the goal of Islam. Your end goal is paradise, correct? For a Buddhist that’s just a desire realm. They understand the nature of pleasure and they know it comes with craving, thus intense pleasure is not liberation. If you say that Islam is practical has any Muslim directly experienced God? Or have they experienced some bliss of devotion and mistook it for a God, because bliss is not God. We too know the power of belief, abilities that arise from intense concentration and so forth. We just don’t mistake it for a creator and permanent, all powerful being which there is no direct evidence for.

There is no need to promote one religion over another, in fact if one wants to, you can find enough issues with any religion. There is no need for god to push one religion over another, in fact it goes against the very essence that god is universal and one. What is important is that we are good human beings, religion is a form of segregation and many of the conflicts are a result of that.

Let's try this analogy: If we take God as a single Being, He must have a preferred set of activities for you to engage in, and values for you to follow. So any deviation from this set of beliefs would be displeasing to God in some way. Why wouldn't you want to please God in the most thorough way possible? To put yourself before God is to disrespect Him. So it's important to understand the true nature of God and his expectations of us, and to follow the one true faith. Doesn't mean that you have to force others to convert, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to convert others by persuasion either. Your assertion that "being good people is enough" sounds good but it isn't true. If you have a job as a plumber, will you get paid by the plumbing company if you spend all day writing articles for a newspaper? No. The plumbing company won't pay you anything no matter how good a person you are. Same here. Except that God will credit you with being good, but He won't give you more credit than a true believer who is as good a person than you.

We don't claim to be atheistic. Muhammad (s.a.) actually knew there was a creator. The Buddhist guy claims that they are atheistic. And yet they meditate, yet they say there is a cycle of life where you get reborn, and you can apparently escape that cycle. So the question is pretty sensible. How come they know these things? They are claiming supernatural things but are denying to be theistic. That's the point being made in the video. If you are asking why Muhammad (s.a.) did so and so, we know why. The reason is theistic. But why Buddha was doing what he was doing if they are not theistic?

Only God is all knowing all powerful all just all loving God is one , creater of all things what we can see and what we cant see and has no beginning nor end these are some of the characteristics of GOD, anything that doesn't have these characteristics & attributes cannot be God or claim to be God unless it fits the characteristics and attributes mentioned above and there is other characteristics too but i have simply mentioned some of them. God is also not dependent on anything
