EFF takes on Zuma in Parliament

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) MPs have disrupted Parliament during President Jacob Zuma’s response to the Nkandla saga.
Zuma was giving MPs feedback in Parliament on the Nkandla upgrades when EFF MPs started chanting: "Bring back the money."
The fracas followed a question by EFF leader Julius Malema to Zuma about when he was going to repay money wasted in security upgrades at his Nkandla home...owl.li/Azss0

I got touched by the behaviour for a minute. Then realised although unruly. They have been (unlike all others in parlament) people who aren't willing to roll over and die. We can't hate what we get. As South African Citizen we respected the ANC for years, now we must seat and pretend like this matter is not being side line. Jason Marx They are all corrupt of course but it should not be the case that we show favour in parliament or the courts. When someone is being targeted by the system then it is no longer fair. If the DA were being given the same run around we would have no end of moaning from those of us who support the opposition. They should all equally be held to account but should also be given the same space to exercise their parliamentary duty as appointed by the people. Let's not forget that even if we think that Malema is a distructive self seeking extorter of poor people's frustrations. He and his fellow EFF members have been democratically elected to parliament and as such they have a duty to represent their voters. That's how democracy works.

I do agree that the way it was done was inappropriate and distasteful, but its a question that every South African asks themselves.
