Effective Fix for Samsung Galaxy Amoled Screen Discoloration/Flickering/Green Tint Issue

My note 9 went past it's warranty period and got locked out from OS update. Tried installing a third party OS, it went really well but Samsung bug was immediately crawling after a few days. Alhamdulillah... this is literally changed my phone, my s9 plus was creating lot of problems tried this and it become perfect it is really giving me good results my screen is not showing anymore yellow filter and is not blacking out

This is better than Oled Saver. Not a 100% fix but quite good considering how unusable my Note9 before installing this app

I was able to do the Always On Display trick for awhile, but eventually my screen became permanently green for anything past like 20% brightness. It's not perfect, but this is the only solution that actually fixes 98% of the problem without having to have the entire screen replaced. Thank you so much for sharing.

i have a galaxy s9 with the same prbolems. 2 days ago the always on display method did not work anymore. are you having any heating problems after using this fix? or any crackling sound when you use an app for a longer time and close it? i had some questionable things happening. right now ia am using an app called oled saver to help a bit but the display is still discolored a bit and i am a bit worried since i need to have my smartphones brightness on max and regulate it through the app so that i get the best result but i dont know if that damages my screen in any way. i just wanna make this phone as usable as possible still.

@@N4ndoru No hardware problems with the app, but now it lets some of the green tint through unfortunately. Without it, I can't even see my screen in the phone's middle brightness range because everything is completely green and blown out, and there are black lines at the top of the display. With this on, all brightness levels are at least usable and have no black lines, but again, there is a slight green tint and the black levels aren't as deep as they should be.

@@Lydomina thanks a lot. yeah without my app i also cant see my screen on certain brightness levels. often times it is black and at the top are a few green lines. thanks for the answer though. i might check it out and compare it to my app i use right now, since it also lets through a bit of green and stuff but i have to set my base brightness to max. i regulate the real brightness through the app but i do not know if it is still harming for my phone in any way

@@N4ndoru With this one, setting the phone brightness to 0 or 100 makes no difference because the app takes control of the brightness.

Or you cud try turning on just "Always On Display", it worked for me in s9 plus.. you just have to wait for 2 or 3 seconds for the AOD to turn on if you wanna unlock your phone again soon.. i had a flickering green screen and worked like a charm..

I was on instagram when hlaf my screen started to being distorted and it was spreading so I shut down my phone scared it was a virus lmao. But ofc when I turned it back on it was still glitched. Having the brightness in the middle made it the worst but having it super or low helped slightly. Then I turned to the internet and tried to find out what happened and was super glad when I cam across this. It helped massively! There is a slight 'saturation' still but it's as close to normal as I'm probably gonne get so just super thankful your method helped cause other videos didn't. Live saver!

Try to use in sunlight and turn up brightness meter to full And then manually change brightness slider from 100 to 10 And keep repeating It worked for me ;) Worth a try

Really you saved me...It just came so suddenly...I never dropped my phone, neither I updated...still I was surprised by yellowish screen with very dangerous flickering...but you given us a great fix...Thanks a lot bro...However, I found that the app doesn't work properly when I play a video; not even using MX player...the quality of the video isn't that vivid or dimmed compared to others like wallpapers or homepage etc.....is there any solution in this regard or may I ask you which video player will perform better while using this app?? Have one very big question? It seems to work well with the foreground colours tone, but when I use screen master to screen capture any video as an image the color tone comes out rather low lighting in brightness. Why is this so? I realised when turn your PMWfree services OFF, the screen capture brightness tone comes back to normal. Also the screen lock, showing the monthly calendar brightness is way too low to be seen...as well...Why is this so? It is 2023 and I want to buy a second hand note 9, but I'm worried of the display issues, is the s9 plus less prone to display issues than note 9? I have an S8, every AMOLED screen does this because it's normal wear and tear of OLED screens. It's pinkish on S8/N8 series and greenish on 9 series

My Note 10 plus has a crack but I was still using it for two years and somedays ago, it flickered and turned black but the screen is completely responsive and sometimes it just comes back to previous state by itself. I can only see two pixel lines on the top that helps me see where my screen is. Any suggestions except screen replacement??!!
