Great to see the guys back at it again. What makes a middle effective? Scoring or blocking ?

@@NicholasSunderland MH that are active in SR sure help. Scoring in transition is quite a challenge. Both scenarios are heavily reliant on the quality of both the first and second touch. If I can add, a MH that can identify S and 1st option during pre serve (when blocking) goes a long way too
@danielcrespo94453 жыл бұрын
@@fitznzk7575 that’s decided by the quality of the 1st touch. Imagine running a gap or 1 and the S is 20 feet off the net :)

How is this camera perspective called? Are there videos of national games with this perspective?

I think the term for it is "Court Level View". Look up "USA vs Brazil Highlights (2017-8-19), Day 2 of USAV Cup". It will not disappoint!

Is it possible to go to high leagues and be a spiker being 1.69 meters?
@Mustafa-sf3np3 жыл бұрын
its not impossible, increase your vertical by exercising a lot if u are a great spiker with a lot of explosive jumping power and additionally being small and fast that could make you a great player

my coach just told me I will be playing middle blocker this season. it's my first position I got and so also my first time as a middle, anyone got any tips for me
@michaelcitarella48793 жыл бұрын
Coaches most likely won’t tell you this but it requires having a very good volleyball IQ to be an effective middle. You’re in the center of all the action and must be efficient in knowing where to block and hit.
@NicholasSunderland3 жыл бұрын
If it's your first season, focusing on general volleyball fundamentals will be more valuable than anything else (learning how to reach high on hits, block penetration, serving, passing, digging, setting, etc) since you've got your whole career ahead of you. overly general IK but that's where the money is made.
@Tough_help3 жыл бұрын
@@NicholasSunderland I've played volleyball for 5 years now actually, here in Belgium (where I live) you don't play in a school team so you get a potition, once you're in the 'under 17 category', you'll get assigned with one but still thank you very much

Please reply so my shoulder cracks and there is a pain every time I extend it upwards and I have pain when spiking. Every time I extend my hand upwards it makes a crack sound and I feel pain in my shoulder. What should I do to stop the cracks and pain
@g.a.86613 жыл бұрын
you should go to the doctor or a qualified physical therapist and have it checked. No one can provide an accurate response online without a proper look at the shoulder, and if it cracks and you feel pain, definitely is something the doctor should look at (in my case, I had "shoulder impingement" injury that hurt when spiking - but no crack sound; and that needed physical therapy and specific exercises to heal, that the doctor recommended; so, when you have such pain, always the best answer is look for doctor help, instead of listening to random injury advice online)
