In facultative anaerobes there is no need of oxygen but u saying in the presence of oxygen the growth will be high... It was a doubt mam,plz clarify it

Hi! Look at the growth pattern of facultative anaerobes. They grow best when oxygen is present. It is true that they do not need oxygen to grow and they rely on anaerobic respiration/fermentation for continued growth, but it will not be as much due to the fact of their growth pattern.
