infectious disease doctor here prepping for lecture to clinicians about clinically relevant organisms. this is great, really nice video. only quibble should you ever update it is that i wouldn't characterize Gram-negatives as "harder to treat." Staph aureus, even without drug resistance, has a very high failure rate, and methicillin drug resistance is a major problem. Enterococci have drug resistance problems, as do various Streptococcal species. Gut Gram-negative rods do seem better equipped to exchange resistance plasmids, so while growing worldwide drug resistance is certainly a public health problem, Gram-positive infections can be no less deadly to a patient, even with appropriate and timely antibiotics. thanks though for the great explanation!

Once you take a blood sample, how long should a lab in a hospital take to determine whether it is Negative or Positive? Next, while you are waiting, do you treat using a broad band antibiotic? So now, it is a Gram Negative, what do you do next? Are there different Gram Negative treatments, and if so, what are they? How resistant is this infection?
