This webinar took place on May 11, 2023. Dr. Oscar Liburd of the University of Florida gave a webinar on "Effects of the predatory mite, Amblyseius swirskii and its biproducts on whitefly Bemisia tabaci population distribution in organic squash" as part of a NIFA OREI funded project on biocontrol in organic vegetables. Dr. Oscar Liburd is a Professor in the Entomology and Nematology Department at the University of Florida. His expertise is in agricultural pest management specifically working with organic vegetable growers primarily on cucurbits, cole crops and solanaceous crops. Dr. Liburd also works in the area of Small Fruit pest management.
