Efficient AFK Fishing | 2024 Skilling Methods | OSRS

With the fishing barrel, barb fishing at CoX becomes a viable and highly afk training method. In this demo, I show how to efficiently configure the activity and bank the fish.
By angling the camera and using a crafting cape, the banking process requires almost no mouse movement or visual reaction.

Wow, seriously appreciate it. I am using the Idle Notifier plugin. turn on Interaction Notifications and go into its settings to customize sound, flash, etc. and be sure to turn on the 'send notifications when focused' option.

@@frank9751 Great question. At the start of the video, I show the process of configuring Bank Fillers to prevent those items from being deposited. Notice that I release the placeholders for the rod, feathers, and barrel before adding bank fillers using the bank settings tab.

Thanks for asking. You can move interfaces by holding down the Alt key (or Option key) and dragging them. I think this is enabled in RuneLite by default.

"Inventory Viewer" lets you see your inventory in another window while you have another interface selected (e.g. equipment)

Up to 62k/h at peak efficiency with the full outfit, high fishing level, and no downtime. Oh, and 5500 agility/strength. In practice, I prefer to AFK a lot and generally get about 50k/h.

Great question. With the barrel, players can hold up to 53 fish, enabling the character to fish uninterrupted for up to twice as long compared to traditional methods. This method requires 8 clicks to bank 53 fish, a mere 15% of the 53 clicks it would take to drop them. This makes it trackpad, mobile, and injury-friendly.
