I have always shot slightly to the left and I could never figure out why, especially since I have attended many training classes and practice every weekend. I just got my 19 back from ATEi and within 5 minutes of handling it and presenting the handgun while dry practicing, the dot showed me that I was over steering ever so slightly with my right hand (kind of what you hinted on in the video). The RMR is a fantastic investment and inherently an amazing teacher.

I used to have an issue because I carry with safety on and its not natural to click the safety off and be fast but now that I practiced the claw grab its way more natural and faster to click the safety off as bring my "claw thumb" down from the rear sight and point the thumbs, Game changer! Thank You man

Hopefully you have cut it down significantly cause that's kinda rough. But if you managed that as a new shooter like fresh off the boat then hell yeah that's awesome. I think I started around a 2.5 and within a week I was hovering in the 1-2 range. After a few years I think I am in the .90-1.5 range but I find that they only get slower when I accidentally try to lock out which I have been moving away from.

Hey Scott how do you teach someone to draw that is left eye dominant and right handed? Or vice versa I know we want to get rid of any unwanted movement but we should have both eyes open correct? I’ve found and was taught to just rotate the gun til the sights line up with my left eye. Please let me know if there’s a different way.

Find AIWB very uncomfortable for daily carry... hows your draw from strong side OWB 3 or 9 o'clock, and have you any advice or video tutorials from this position?

I do not as I think it is a physically inferior position. That said look up Mike Green of Green Ops or of Chris Woomer of Veil Solutions for tips on that draw position.

Wishpunk Vogel doesn’t hyperextend. I can call him and clarify if you like. I don’t use Bob’s grip. Never have. Actually only Bob uses Bob’s grip.

AIWBs SERIOUS FLAW The number one flaw to these types of holster is where the gun is pointed on the draw & in the re-holster. If cloth or an obstruction gets into the trigger area, *_bang,_* goodbye privates. If you on a self-defense draw or even on the re-holster from a CCW incident with all that adrenaline and nervousness, *_Boom,_* you hit your femora artery. To me, and this is an opinion, _only foolish people take the risk of AIWB_ their negatives outweighs their positives. My friend, it is possible to shoot yourself carrying AIWB, as is any other position. That’s why it is important to practice trigger discipline.

Been carrying IWB for years now, Get training and own what you do. Take off you IWB holster and reholster after an incident if your adrenaline is going.
