Why not use a back lead to avoid the floating weed..? Good perseverance 👍

You can’t use backleads as the weeds so bad the last thing you want is the backlead pulling the line down into the weed. It’s thick with weed all over the lake bed, then rafts of weed floating on the surface. It’s just a nightmare!
