I love the “even when it’s wet” part about your response because sometimes I see dry hair that looks like 4C hair only to discover it’s just a hidden head full of ringlets when wet. I think the dry texture makes some people believe their hair is 4C when in reality it is not.

The braids def help to keep them secure. Have you tried braiding your hair first? If your hair is too too fine, you can also add some braiding hair while braiding so that it doesn’t weigh down your natural hair

@peakmill I do for the base however not for my leave out. I usually try and glue pieces in to make my leave out fuller to match the density of the clip ins.

Clip ins last for as long as you leave them clipped on. Personally don’t like to keep clip ins in my hair overnight continuously so I would take them out at night or every other night and reclip in the morning. Taking them out and putting them back in takes like 5 mins
