I still have a 360 slim that has games on the hard drive, just dug it out and hooked it up lol also had to dig through a box to find a 500gb usb drive to start backing things up easier.

A very helpful video. For the most part I feel Xenia isn't up to scratch and it's still better to play your games on your xbox 360 for now .

Because the 360 can run 1080p natively, I imagine it'll be good enough until Xenia can do 4k regularly with very little error.

The 360 barely runs any games at a native 1080P. Most are native 720P and under. The 360 upscales the output to 1080P

@ArchadesGames fair enough Then it will mostly depend on the stability of Xenia. If it's less than stable, the 360 will be a suitable substitute as it's compatible with modern TVs. Well, most models of 360 are.

@@ratman7969 I think you can just convert it through any iso convertor. You’ll just need a blu ray drive for your computer to read it.

Xbox One uses a completely different file system. This guide is only for an actual Xbox 360.

I found this while looking for the means to transfer game saves from the XBox 360 to PC. Would you consider a video showing how to do this in 2024? Much of the available software has changed since people posted how to transfer games on an old game console (average tutorials are10 yrs old). But this video was a great option for some game titles that aren't available on PC or are not worth purchasing again. Thanks!

My usb has no volume when i plug it into back my pc. It says format in the pc. It just shows the the usb letter but no volume.

All my files are "data0000" - "data0033", there are no subfolders. Did I do something wrong?

Everything is fine up until I launch the actual game, then it crashes and I get an error saying “The guest has crashed” and “Xenia paused itself” Is this specific to the game that I’m playing, or do I need to configure a few settings?

Game night not be compatible. You can check the Xenia compatibility lists for more info.

Yes you can delete them if you moved them already

You can copy over the installed files with the game. Just put it all on USB.

I have a series X is this possible with the newer gen console or do i have to have the old 360 console for this to work? You can't copy them from the Hard drive to USB. You have to directly install them from disc to USB.
