Dude, I have watched and rewatched so much of your content over the past month, I just wanted to say thank you. Seriously dude, the fact that you're posting this info and how to for free is amazing and speaks greatly of your character. Keep it up, please. Now, I hate posting a comment that has nothing to do with the vid you posted but I'm in need of some advice and have a couple questions in regards to tuning a VVE that weren't answered in your previous videos. Why do you not set the open loop modifiers to 1: AirFlow gain, injTemp gain, IVTgain, Gas(p/n), and Gas(gear) I've been in the process of dialing in the VVE on a 4cylinder 2.4l eco-tic with vvt. I'll get the EQ errors down to about +/-3% (using an aem wideband, narrowband tuning is for the birds ;)) I'll go to the 3D map of the VVE and blamo, it looks jagged as hell. So I'll smooth it out, go out n log, adjust, lather rinse repeat. Aaaaaand it's jagged again. I feel like I'm missing something. I've got cot, DCFO, and the MAF disabled. All those EQ modifier tables set to 1 (with those set to stock I was fighting to get the errors down to 3%). I feel like I'm at an impasse, not knowing what to do next. I know you're a busy dude, but I could use some help. Edit: I'm a bit of a frugal guy and never donated to a Patreon or got on any monthly subscriptions outside of my phone plan. But there's something good about you.

EFILive navigation editing interface I like easy better. But all the tuners with dynos around me only do HPTuners. I guess because the makers of the product are in Australia is part of why

Hi, friend. With Flashscan V3 I can program the Delco E83 ecu of a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic 1.6L aspirated engine. I have read the ecu with a Kess V2 but they say that the Kess performs an incomplete reading and when trying to modify the maps with Winols the ecu can be blocked. With Flashscan I can modify everything that appears in the efilive software without problems?????

No, that is just for the interface. Licenses are $125 per vehicle. They no longer do Stream Licenses on the V3.

So if I want to tune my LS swap, it’s going to cost $1000 out the gate or does the controller come ready to tune the LS?

It's 1000 for the interface with 2 licenses. So you can tune 2 vehicles with it for no extra cost.

At this point we no longer use EFI Live due to there lack of transmission support. You cant provide the best performance possible if you cant modify the TCC tables Shift pressures shift timing.... Those are all major in getting the best power out of a platform. No one wants to run a stock shift table with a higher stall converter.
