Does this mean that the speaker should be connected to the electric curcuit all the time? Does it have any sleeping mode when not in use?
@LitheAudio4 жыл бұрын
After 9 minutes of no signal, the speaker will power down go into standby mode. When a signal is received the speaker will then auto power-up.

Just bought a pair of these, but really surprised with the lack of bass, it's not punchy whatsoever. At the high price point I was expecting much more. The echo dot sitting next to it (during setup) had more bass output! Will be returning

Thanks for that. That helped me decide not to buy these. I'm always shocked at how many people don't care about bass.

This may be a dumb question, but would it be possible to use these as in-wall speakers using Bluetooth for surround in the rear? I haven't really come across any Bluetooth speakers that are in-wall, only in-ceiling. So far in my search for in-wall speakers, I've found they all require speaker wires, and aren't Bluetooth

I’m looking for this answer now, did you get Bluetooth Dolby Atmos on your receiver yet ?
@stevenichols40604 жыл бұрын
If you actually put on light circuit with room lights then if you switch off lights, then speakers off also? You want to give its own circuit so it is always ready to receive signal/begin playing regardless of lights?
@LitheAudio4 жыл бұрын
These would connect to the permanent live feed of the lighting circuit ( or your can plugin) will have no bearing if the light switch is on or off.

If you're after multiroom setup, you would want to go for the Lithe Audio Wi-Fi model, same concept as this Bluetooth one, just used the home network to group speakers together

Why has no manufacture adopted that type of fixing for down lighters, rather than those spring clips, it would be easy with those down lights that have removable bezel.
@efixx4 жыл бұрын
It’s probably down to fire rating - the components would need to be steel to survive the fire 🔥 test procedure.

I've also seen these bluetooth amplifiers etc was wondering if I can throw everything in the mix

It is so simple, specially hooking them to the ceiling outlets. What ceiling outlets? Why are we discussing the installation carpentry, rather than the electrical connection. Especially with the bulky connectors shown in the video. No word about the length of the connectors (3 meters) or the cable connecting one speaker to the other.

@LitheAudio4 жыл бұрын
Two options here, New smart TV's have Bluetooth built-in , simply pair and connect wirelessly. the speakers have Low Latency APTx chipsets so you do not get any lip sync issues. Option 2 is to hard wire, the speaker have a AUX input on them so you can connect a cable from back to TV to the speakers.

A couple of questions 1) If I get a few Master and slave Pairs can I rename them for the rooms accordingly 2) Does the wifi model include Bluetooth and can you select speakers u dont want to play example living room off and keep kitchen and conservatory on
@LitheAudio4 жыл бұрын
1) yes you can rename each speaker. we have a APP you can change the name and if you need add a password to each speaker. 2) Wifi model gives you full control of how many speakers you play together and this model also includes AirPlay

Hi, if you install the speakers in different rooms such as living room, kitchen, bedroom, could it be possible from your phone/iPad to choose in which of the room you want the speaker to play? For instance, if your are watching a movie in the living room, can I only choose the speakers in the living room to play without the sound coming out in the kitchen or Bedroom speakers? thanks in advance for your answer
@efixx3 жыл бұрын
I think it depends on how you've got them configured. If one's a slave and one's a master they'll both play the same but if they're separate masters they may work. There's also a Wi-Fi version that offers much more flexibility. Reach out to LitheAudio they're great at answering techy stuff like this. 😊
@2wdr53 жыл бұрын
@@efixx what the person is referring to is called zoning and really is a very important feature in any wireless audio setup. So it depends if the app for streaming to the speakers has that functionality. it should not be a question of master and slave. One speaker should be able to be put as part of multiple zones with a priority set. The fact that wasn't something covered makes me assume that is something these speaker are unable to do.

Hi guys love the videos was looking to purchase the ip rated speaker of this model for my bathroom but was wanting to know the full speaker height ? I only have a total of Around 120mm ceiling depth so might be struggling to fit this ceiling speaker in the height of the ceiling ? If you have the overall height that would be great thanks.

Hi Sean, total height is 95mm. Plaster board is around 12mm usually so you will need 83mm in the void. So you should be fine with the 120mm.

With the Bluetooth model in this review, each speaker is independent and you would control each from a different phone, tablet or Alexa or google home.
