Just bought a IP44 Master version for the bathroom along with a passive slave. Sounds amazing and installed in minutes, would definitely recommend to anyone. Bought mine from K&B Audio, top class service from this company and at a very good price.

Love a blue tooth speaker and lots of usage options. The guys at lithe are very helpful to I had the pleasure of a chat with some of them at the efixx event last year 👍. Try not to upset the neighbours Joe .

I'm actually getting jealous now. All the great products that electricians are getting to install right now, and I'm still learning and training 😔 just have to hope that when I get out and working, they'll be more companies making great products (mostly from the Electrician's point of view for installation)

Really interested in a multi room option. 3 floors. Would wifi enable individual control of each speaker? We dont all have the same taste in music lol

The Wi-Fi model will give you full multi-room the right choice for your setup.

If I have 2 rooms next to eachother and one room has the master and passive and the other room has 2 passives, if I connect them altogether would it still work? I don’t mind that I won’t be able to play different music in each btw

Would be great for listening to a weekly @efixx podcast 🤓

Everyone seems to be doing podcasts these days. What we need to do (we = the whole electrical community) is get the bbc to remove the poor imitation that top gear has become, and get them to make efixx a great little series with the 3 amigos front and center.

Unrelated Tech question: For bonding, why do the regs stipulated a 10mm2 cable for PME and a 6mm2 cable for TT. What consideration went into the decision to set these minimums? (Would love to see the maths)

Under fault conditions the pme earth conductor would became a live conductor carrying a far greater current
@mcbunson4 жыл бұрын
@@paullyons4624 yes though would it see currents of up to 2261A (assuming a 0.4s fault)? Which is what the 10mm2 cable is sized for. It just seems excessive.

technology keeps getting better and better, but sound quality keeps getting worse .. kevlar, titanium , it's the same marketing wank as cheap car stereo gear .. sorry guys i would rather listen to someone tapping your tin in a tin than poor quality audio
