Again Thank you Efren for sharing all this unvaluable material ! It feels like a deep breath of Freedom each time. I slept in this albergue in San Esteban de Leces ... Nostalgia !

Mate, any walk greater than 25kms bring your energy bar. And don't forget the NUUN tablets.

Enron, you looked tired at both the beginning and ending of your day! Hope you had a shorter day coming! Love the the animal shots - large and small - horses, cows, goats, bees and even a slug! Amazing how far one can go putting one foot in front of the other.

Admirable esos 37 kms. La fusión de imágenes con esos paisajes deja una sensación de armonía. Saludos 🌹

Efrén, I take my hat off to you man, chapeau! 37 + km rain or sun always a big smile on your face! And like a ‘Hamster’ running around in the wheel; I feel it man, often had that myself on the Camino! I always look forward to the next episode! ¡Buen Camino! 👣🍷👍😎

Efren, you can't take it back but you should have stayed in Ribadesella which I found to be a great little fishing town. One or two super restaurants.
@JB-ys8mj4 жыл бұрын
I agree. We even stayed there after we finished the Norte on our way back to Irun

@@Walk_with_Efren Gee, I hate to pile on, but I was really hoping you'd stay in Ribadesella & do some droning there too. (One of my bisabuelos was from there.) I don't know why, but Camino Norte vloggers always ignore that town for some reason.😥 But your joke about the bad, bad, bad church locked up under maximum security was so good it more than made up for the disappointment.😂🤣

My my. After 37km walking and with rain here and there, all one needs is a hot shower and a nice diner.

Great day Efren.. very long day. If I can ask. Why doesn’t the camera pick up the pole that it is attached to in your videos?
@Walk_with_Efren4 жыл бұрын
Thank you Chris. it's the Insta360 one X camera. the pole fits between the two lenses and when the image is stitched it disappears automatically. pretty cool effect.

Loved all those painted rocks, they were awesome! And I saw a tent at the beginning of the video. Is it possible to stealth camp along the Norte? I would sure like to spend 2 or 3 nights outside (though wondering if it is rainy all the time along the route). Hoping to do the Norte when things open up since my Camino in April was not possible. Thanks for sharing your walk, it will be very useful for me when I can finally go.

yes you can u met the pilgrim in the tent a few days down the line. he was camping 90% of the time

Thanks for the nice movies! And yes, the albergue in Cuerres ("Reposo de Andayon") really is spectactular, albeit a bit hard to find (and you have to shower in the garden before entering :-) ). Ribadesella was very rainy for us as well.
@Walk_with_Efren4 жыл бұрын
It really is! Noe stay there and sent me a picture of the open air bathroom. it was cold so I think I would have skipped the shower that day.
@RuedigerBerlich4 жыл бұрын
Well, they wouldn't let anybody in without it, and everyone even had to wear (clean) clothes they had in a box. Apparently this happened to prevent bed bugs from entering the albergue. Putting on clothes from a box was admittedly a bit awkward, but served a greater good (and was part of the adventure ...). And the rest was really great. I was there with my 10 year old daughter, and she enjoyed it, despite some really oversized clothes for her ... :-)

Not sure if it’s my eyes but certain 360 cam shots make me feel sea sick, my eyes or the frame rate, or old age. Saw a photographers hack for 360 cam...use mini tripod, gorilla pod jobbie attach it to rucksack belt, hands free 360 cam...good stuff as usual
@Walk_with_Efren4 жыл бұрын
I think 360 videos can affect you if your immersed wearing 3d goggles and the footage is moving or shaky. but then again it also affects people differently.

Hello Efren, thanks for your camino vlogs. I've watched and enjoyed them all. Well done! I have a question for you. Do you know if there is an official camino organisation in Spain? Despite the current travel restrictions, I'm still hoping to complete the camino frances from Leon to Santiago this year. I'd like to get some reliable information about when it's safe to go. Thanks.
@@Walk_with_Efren Very informative, thanks very much. I wonder if you also know of a site or group discussion giving updates about when the Camino will open again?
